I have an issue with my quicken essentials for Mac. - I can't open files.it says the file is locked and i - Answered by a verified Mac Support Specialist. Go to the applications folder and drag it to the trash can then download it again from the quicken website or install from your disk if you installed that way.
I spent some time at Macworld Expo talking with Aaron Patzer, VP at Intuit, about the upcoming Quicken Essentials, the company's replacement for. This new version is a total rewrite from the ground up, using Cocoa and bringing with it a totally revamped user interface. Gone is the interface I loved to hate; Quicken Essentials bears more resemblance to or than it does to Quicken 2007. Among a multitude of new features are greatly improved reporting, budgeting with easy-to-see historical activity levels, and support for thousands of additional financial institutions.
